Works great and good way to repurpose stained shirts...gonna try some variations but the overall idea is great

Decorative head bands!! How do I still not have a hot glue gun since the birth of Pinterest?!

Materials: jersey, scissors, needle and thread Measure around your head and take away an inch. This is n." Cut a strip of jersey about 5" wide by n" long. Sew the ends together. Now find the place where you want to cinch it (you know, the part where the flowers are) and use a running stitch. Now pull your thread to ruche it. Add some flowers (the flowers are basically strips of jersey. You baste on one edge and pull it to make a ruffle, and then you sew the ends together). Done! I love that casual look about it. It's nice and soft. It keeps my ears warm.

An easy way to make a headband.....I would surge the edges of the "flower" maybe in a different color

T-Shirt Headband - Imagine all of the colors! And you wouldn't have to do a flower, you could do buttons, or beads, or a vintage brooch.
