Oak Alley Plantation was completed in 1841 and is famous for the 'oak tree alley' leading to the front of the house. Francois Gabriel 'Valcour' Aime acquired this property and sold it to his brother-in-law Jacques Telesphore in 1836. (See more Aime plantations further down on this page.)
