    X-47B stealth drone targets new frontiers... The X-47B was commissioned by the US navy to demonstrate the ability of autonomous unmanned aircraft to take-off and land from air craft carriers. After years of development, and recent land-based tests, the highly anticipated carrier flight for this stealthy, tailless, unmanned drone is imminent. “It should be in early in 2013,” says Carl Johnson, vice president and program manager at defence firm Northrop Grumman, which builds the X-47B.

Contemporary reports always used the phrase "jewel-like" to refer to the creations of Officine Speziallizate Costruzioni Automobili, or OSCA. They were small-displacement (usuallt 1.5L) sports-racing cars built by the Maserati brothers after their contract with Orsi ran out and they could no longer build cars under their own names. This is an OSCA MT4, which explains the obsession with the phrase "jewel-like" for these incredible creations...
