Want to make your own jam, but intimidated of the canning process? Don’t worry, here’s an easy way to make your jam and preserve it all year. We’re going to make freezer jam! What’s great about this method is that it does not take any fancy equipment, so anyone can do it!
Easy Peach Jam 9 cups peaches 6 cups cane sugar 4 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice 1 box of pectin Prepare jars & lids by washing them and placing them in a 250 degree oven for 25 minutes to sterilize. Combine peeled peaches, pectin, & lemon juice in stainless steel pan. Stir till pectin is dissolved. Bring to a boil over med. heat. Stirring often, & once the color changes to clear, skim off foam & add sugar, bring to a raging boil for a minute or so.
