It turns out the mansion used to be the home of Takieddin el-Solh ( 1908 – 1988) Lebanese Sunni politician who served as Prime Minister from 1973-74, and 1980. The binders were full of voter lists and various political documents. I'm assuming he abandoned the place during the civil war and moved to a more secure location.
Halcyon Hall of Bennett College in Millbrook, NY. It was a women's college that was founded in 1890. Halcyon Hall was built in 1893, which was originally built as a 200 room hotel, but was adopted by the college in 1907 after the failed in the hotel industry, and it became the main building of the college. The school closed in 1978. It was set to be demolished in 2012.
