Our Promise To Each Other - Social Contract. To make it official, students put their "I promise" hand print on the poster. Older students could also sign their hand.

Use this All About Me sheet as a beginning of year activity. Students can work on this as they are walking into the classroom on the first day of school, while you are busy talking to parents and getting others settled. This sheet can also be used as a guide when students share some facts about themselves to the rest of the class.

Instead of "I Can't" or "I don't know"... I would change a few of these though and guide students in "creating" the list as a class (beginning of the year mini-lesson).

This is a bulletin board where students can put up anything they are proud of, whether it's a picture, drawing or good grades. I like this because the kids choose what they post!
