Henry W. Baker House at 233 S. Main St. in Plymouth, MI. Baker (1833-1920) built this Italianate style home in 1875. Baker had moved to this area while still a boy. As a young man, he worked as a photographer, a merchant and a lumberman. At the age of 43, he helped found the Plymouth Iron Windmill Co., which in 1895 became the Daisy Mfg. Co. The company, best known for its BB guns, operated in Plymouth until 1958, when new owners moved it to Arkansas. Baker's descendants lived here until 1943.

This classic Victorian house, across from Riverdale Farm, has all the details you expect to find in a Victorian home. Bay and Gable, wonderful gingerbreading and details in the brick and stone work.
