From Functional to Fabulous

Just paint those ugly plastic drawers to match your bathroom decor! Genius!

Perfect! I did not want to throw out that giant coffee canister, and i don't like the fabric bag holders. Hopefully this will work with a plastic coffee container.

Just print off any picture you want, then spray paint a piece of wood black, cut the picture to match the size of the wood. Using Mod podge coat the wood then lay the picture on top. Once it has dried thoroughly, use sandpaper to rough up the edges, then put a layer of mod podge over the picture. paint some eye hooks and use pretty ribbon as a hanger and voila - sublime decor

Monogram and street address metal numbers (both on sale) from Hobby Lobby, repurposed pallet wood (free) with a little white spray paint, some burlap and some screws. Easy deco for the front porch!

STAINED GLASS CAKE STAND First, I placed 2 tubs (1500 beads each) of cheap, plastic, transparent pony beads in an ungreased 12" metal cake pan. Then, I baked the beads at 425 degrees for 30-40 minutes...until all the beads had completely melted. I let this cool in the pan for about 20 minutes, then popped it out of the pan (it came right out...really!) Next, I glued it onto a dollar store candle stick with E6000 glue. Presto! Cheap, easy, one-of-a-kind cake stand!
