After Diana's death it was inherited by her younger son, Prince Harry. William and Harry decided that whomever married first, would give their mother's ring to his future wife. Kate makes an entrance at the Boodles Boxing Ball in hot-pink Issa as Diana wears a frothy gown to the opera in Milan, in 1985. Kate's thin, lengthy body looks good in any formal wear, but who knew Diana could look so fierce yet pretty in pink? Every princess, past or future, should be able to pull off a full on pink number. Still, we would say Di's got Kate beat here since she is sporting a tiara with her pastel pink dress. You will have that accessory of a lifetime soon enough, Kate!
