Watermelon Margaritas. Watermelon is one of summer's best treats. Here's a thinking-outside-the-box idea for serving watermelon. Freeze cut up squares of watermelon and use as "ice cubes"! Serve in this yummy watermelon margarita (recipe) for adults, or as ice cubes in lemonade for kids. Perfect for 4th of July picnics or summertime BBQs and pool parties.
Ingredients 3 cups of watermelon 3/4 – 1 cup of lime juice (approx. 10 limes) 1/3 cup of sugar 2 cups of ice 1 cup tequila 1/2 cup triple sec or Grand Marnier Instructions: In a blender, combine the watermelon, lime juice, sugar, and ice. Blend until smooth. Add the alcohol and pulse to blend. Serve over ice cubes and an optional lime slice.
GEORGIA PEACH- the perfect summer drink! 2 ounces Skyy vodka 1 ounce peach liqueur 1/2 cup peach slices (fresh or frozen) 1/2 cup crushed ice 1/4 cup red raspberries (fresh or frozen) fresh mint, to garnish
BLUE HAWAIIAN 2 ounces pineapple juice, 1 1⁄2 ounces vodka, 3⁄4 ounce blue Curaçao liqueur, 1⁄2 ounce fresh lime juice, 1⁄2 ounce simple syrup, Splash of half-and-half, Pineapple leaf and lime wheel. Combine in shaker with ice, shake, Strain into tall glass filled with crushed ice. (Or combine everything in a blender cup. Add 3⁄4 cup of crushed ice and flash blend for 5 seconds. Pour into cocktail glass.) Garnish with the pineapple leaf and lime wheel.
