A Teacher's Idea - and a good one! This is a very simple, low-cost way of learning how to read the time in digital AND analogue. We'd suggest building it into the daily routine, asking your child to show you what times they usually do things; or even alongside a working clock - set a time on the learning clock, and when the real clock matches it, it's time for a treat!
Paper Plate Clock Activity for Learning to Tell Time
Math center idea for tens and ones. I use foam dice so they don’t make any noise. Student rolls 2 dice. The 1st number is for the tens place and the 2nd one is for the ones place. If they roll a 6 and 4 they write down 64 and then they draw the picture. You can add more dice for larger numbers.
