Fern, just planted a few of these today...a gift from my neighbor.

Because ferns do not produce flowers but rather by nearly invisible spores, they were thought to be mysterious in ancient times. Therefore the plants have long been associated with invisibility spells and sorcery. That's why I always associated these with fairies :)
