Edward Gorey (Author and Illustrator) [Book Illustration from the cover of "The Wander"]

Edward Gorey. My favorite Illustrator, who was also a writer. I'd describe him as quirky, dark, and humorous all in one. He probably illustrated hundreds of books (I have a very small collection). Worked mostly in ink, and had a very distinct style. Like me, he enjoyed ballet and cats (shown in his works).
