Edie Adams is primarily known for her prolific work on television, but she also made a number of films in the 1950s and 1960s. Adams is a gifted comedienne who demonstrated her skills in The Apartment (1960; with Jack Lemmon), Lover Come Back (1961; with Rock Hudson and Doris Day), and It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World (1963).
Alluring Tippi Hedren began her career as a model. She was discovered for films by director Alfred Hitchcock, who saw her in a commerical and cast her in The Birds (1963; with Rod Taylor). She made only a few other film appearances in the 1960s, including the low budget Satan's Harvest (1965; with George Montgomery) and Tiger by the Tail (1968).
