Give a Christmas Jar or Anonymous Money Jar. Have family put money in mason jar throughout year. At Christmas time, choose someone to bless (anonymously). "On Christmas Eve, deliver by ring and run... and enjoy warm fuzzies. What a beautiful idea!"

What a great tradition to start.... Have family put money in mason jar throughout year. At Christmas time, choose someone to bless (anonymously). Our family does this with two other families every year. The kids get to choose the recipients. This brings joy to the receiver and the giver! Must read the book "The Christmas Jar" it explains how it all started. an even greater idea would be to save the money a to choose a Christmas angel to spend it on! teaches the child to save money and the joy of giving to others(:

Great thing to do! Everyone put money in the jar all year and then do the "ring and run". You have to read "the christmas jar" first. Great idea!

Have your family, with anticipation, place their pocket change into a jar all year long. Pray and choose someone in need and on Christmas Eve, place the jar on their doorstep... Ring the doorbell and run... Start a new family tradition and teach your children to give anonymously... Let God receive the Glory...

Glue clear marbles on the bottom of the items to raise them off the bottom of jar or lid (depending on if right side up or upside down) then add enough fake snow to cover marble. Bluish glass would be perfect. LA SOURCE
