So cute! Coasters made from terracotta pot bases... Smart. Better than tiles, the water can't drip off the edge this way.

Foil duct tape. A very large roll of the stuff, which you can find at your local big box store, costs about $6.50. Look for IPG–or Intertape Polymer Group–which has a very nice finish.
