JLH... Paper Bag Fall Tree. Fun! Probably a project for older elementary students. I could use this as a science project; I could use this as a word tree and have them add adjectives, verbs, nouns, adverbs, etc. that reflect autumn vocabulary. This would also creatively decorate the classroom in a very simple and fall way.

Yes! We used to make these every year in grade school for Easter baskets out of colored paper! I have often tried to remember how it was done! Using grocery bags is a really nice idea.

Pom Pom trees! This is a craft for a child but I think the trees would be cool done as "topiaries" and arranged in a long thin planter with moss and some acorns for a table arrangement.
