Joe Landon - "Summer Dream" Hollow form vessel turned from end grain, fiddle back maple. It measures approximately 6.5 inches tall by 5 inches wide. It is finished with aniline dyes and wipe-on poly. My most recent body of work consists of hollow form vessels. They are turned from native hardwoods that have been saved from landfills or firewood piles. Part of the thrill of working with this medium is discovering the beauty that has been hidden for centuries deep inside a tree.
