Icon, Del Desamparo, Photographer, La Desigualdad

The fashion photography of George Hoyningen Huene in the 1920s and 1930s. This is a photo of fabled Hamptons denizens,Gerald and Sara Murphy, allegedly the inspiration for Fitzgerald's Dick and Nicole Diver in TENDER IS THE NIGHT, at Antibes in the South of France.
Vogue - 1930 - Divers - Horst P. Horst and model - Swimwear by A.J. Izod - Photo by George Hoyningen-Huene (Russian, 1900-1968)
Black and white photos are so real and intense. "The Divers", a dreamy and beautiful photo by Russian artist George Hoyningen-Huene (1900-1968), who became one of the greatest exponents of photography of the 20's and 30's.
The Divers "Just as the Murphys served as symbols of the great theme of the Lost Generation in literature, with Fitzgerald modeling the fictionalized world of Dick and Nicole Diver after them, so, too, did their idealized images sear the imagination in photography with this iconic photograph taken by George Hoyningen-Hueve in 1930, posing his assistant, Horst P. Horst and a model, mistaken by many over the years to be the Murphys themselves." theerrantaesthete.com

Bobby Neel Adams Age Maps
Photos, Age Maps, Idea, Photographer Bobby, Photography
Photographer Bobby Neel Adams combines two photos of his portraits subjects—one as a youth and one as an adult—into composite portraits he calls “AgeMaps.”
Photographer Bobby Neel Adams uses photographs subjects and fuses them with pictures of their childhood. To create the effect, the subjects need to wear something similar to what they wore in their childhood photo and then are photographed in a similar manner. The results, which do not use any Photoshop, are pretty remarkable!
