Add orange peels (or any citrus peel) to a quart of white vinegar in a closed container and let it set for two weeks. Combine citrus/vinegar solution half/half with water and use for cleaning. Works on floors, tile, fixtures, etc. Smells good and is tough on scum!

Unclog drain- grandma Pat kept this recipe taped inside the kitchen cupboard. Totally works! I have needed to use more vinegar after initial 1C.

Citrus Vinegar for cleaning - You peel 2 oranges, or in my case, 2 grapefruits, (just THE PEELS ONLY) and soak them in cheap white vinegar for 2 weeks in a tightly sealed mason jar. I put mine in a sunny window sill. This is for a household cleaner, but what I discovered is that this stuff takes iron stains off of the sink, faucets, showers and toilets and it works better than Lime Away and almost as good as Iron Out!!!! Non toxic too! I LOVE IT!!!!! @[112769426...

DIY - Refill air freshners. NOTE: There is a definite “OMG” factor that I will forever associate with plug-in oils now.. I will NEVER buy one again, other than for the purpose of refilling!!

Awesome Cleaning Slime 1 tablespoons of white (Elmers) glue. Add about 1 spoon full of water. Mix. Then in another cup put 2 tablespoons of borax and 2 tablespoons of water. Pour the glue solution and the borax solution together and you get slime. Add some food color to the glue first if you want a cool color. Use mold of your choice...shallow plastic container, etc. Can be re-used many times. When it gets filled with the gunk you have been cleaning, throw it out and make some more!!
