    I would dry them off, spray them with Pam and bake them instead of frying them. Much healthier version.

    Love, love, love beets! Thinking about throwing some in the dehydrator. Anyone try this method?

    We dehydrate turnip slices and they are very good, I imagine that beets would be too. Slightly chewy more than crispy.

Beth Williams: Most of my recipies come from "The Culinary Arts Institute's" Encyclopedic Cookbook. Published in the late 40's or early 50's. It was my mother's. Scratch cooking at it best. :: sugar substitutes- haven't tried these but it's good to know, just in case!
