Not as good as the books, but pretty freaking close. Jackson has one major flaw that, as an English major, I can't quite forgive. But overall, very enjoyable. The trilogy, as a whole, definitely falls in my top 5 flicks of all time.

The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King

As much as I love Aragorn and Arwen, I felt horrible for Eowyn. But all's well that ends well ... She marries Faramir, who becomes Steward of Gondor during King Elessar Telcontar (Aragorn) of Gondor's rule.

One of my favorite love stories. Barely in the movie or book yet by the end, you still feel the depth. Now that's good writing!
