I've learned sickness doesn't only effect the one person it attacks. It's dark ways are felt among those around them too. I remember this feeling very well. But eventually, with time, you forget. I guess that's life's way of keeping you alive and surviving. What makes me saddest though is knowing that as each day passes the sadness goes away but I also forget a little more of my mom. Maybe that's why I held onto the sadness for so long, I didn't want to forget her. <3

So true. Felt this many of time, due to the loss of my friends and family.

It's not the kind of #sadness to where you #cry all the time, but more of like the sadness that overwhelms your entire body, leaving your heart aching, and your stomach empty. Making you feel #weak and #tired. And yet you can't even sleep 'cause the #sadness is in your dreams too. It's almost a sadness you can't escape. #Depression #MentalHealth #MentalIllness #DisabilityNinjas

I've felt this sadness. Pinning this for that book I'm gonna write. The further I get away from the sadness I once felt, the easier it is to forget how all-encompassing it was. This quote brings it back. -sak
