(great to remember for move-out or in) Place a dishwasher-safe cup filled with plain white vinegar on the top rack of the dishwasher. Using the hottest water available, run the dishwasher through a cycle. The vinegar will help to wash away the loose, greasy grime, sanitizes, and helps remove the musty odor. Next, sprinkle a cupful of baking soda around the bottom of the tub and run it through a short cycle. The baking soda will help freshen and removing stains.... good to do every 6 mths
Clean Oven!:3-4 drops of Dawn, 4 T. of Baking Soda, 5 T. of Vinegar, Juice of a lemon or lime. (Pour in vinegar SLOWLY!) Wipe paste onto the surfaces in the oven. Let it set for a couple of hours. Wipe out with a sponge or warm cloth.
Ingredients: 1 tbsp dish soap (regular Dawn) 1 tbsp white vinegar 2 cups hot water Baking soda Instructions: Sprinkle baking soda on the stain and wait 10 minutes. Then vacuum it up. Mix the dish soap, vinegar, and water together. With a clean cloth, start dabbing the stain remover on the stain. Keep blotting until it's completely gone.
There was a time (many years ago now) when I defined effective cleaning by how the air smelled. It's not really clean unless I can smell the chemicals!
