1 cup of baking soda into a mason jar and drop in 4 drops of lavender essential oil. Put on the lid and shake up the jar. Using a kitchen strainer sprinkle the baking soda mixture all over the mattress & let it sit for an hour or more, then sweep using the hose of your vacuum. The baking soda helps draw up any moisture and deep dirtiness. It deodorizes and leaves the mattress smelling fresh and clean....I used this and I love the fresh clean scent...No lavendar though! ♥gigi

How To Clean Bedwetting Stains From Mattresses

Should you use a vinegar and baking soda mixture for cleaning? The answer might surprise you! from LiveRenewed.com

Old food and disgusting grime are the perfect combination for a horrible smelling drain. Eliminate unwanted odors by pouring in a cup of baking soda and letting it sit for 20 minutes. After the baking soda absorbs the odors wash it down with acidic vinegar which will react with the baking soda causing it to bubble and clean the drain. Other stench-busting remedies include the use of essential oils and citrus peels such as lemons or oranges.
