Cool the kids off with a homemade sprinkler or make an outdoor shower. Take a 2 liter soda bottle, poke holes in it. Attach to a garden hose via a male to male adapter that cost less than $5 at Lowes. Toss over a tree branch and let hang. You can adjust how the water sprinkles by adjusting the water flow. When the bottle gets beat up, just replace it, no additional cost!

Ok, so these are on sale on Etsy for anywhere from $15-$45. Ridiculous! But super duper easy to make. I made my own from scrap fabric costing me ... $0!!!!! It is great to have and I love it (so a 5 for that) but it also got a 5 because of the price!
