Something new to try for next year.

Our awesome end of the year hallway display. "Leaving Shadows of kindergarten Behind." We stood the kids in front of a light and traced their reflections on black banner paper to make full body silhouettes.

Just LOVE the idea of a reading corner!!! Classroom Decorating Ideas on Pinterest

I'm using this next year. Cute.

Teacher Big Book - cute idea! I think I'll have to do this for my class this year. You have to look at her example. It's really great!

Beginning of the Year

Developed in partnership with Fountas & Pinnell (creators of the Heinemann Leveled Literacy Intervention Program) this compact, folding Trolley is the perfect organizer for daily Literacy Intervention Programs and other traveling educator’s needs.

Morning Work Ideas

Simple, easy teacher binder- TOTALLY the best thing I've ever done to organize my teaching life!!!

Whooo Am I? Great for open house or the first weeks of school

will try this again this year

Love this! File crate with each student's name on it. File work for them to do when they are "done" that is differentiated. you can also put work in there that they need extra practice with. I'm thinking big YES!! :). I am definitely doing this next year!

Send home a magnet with the teacher's email (or other contact info) at Meet & Greet (and other ideas!).

Have one person sit in front of a white board while the others write a positive phrase about them. Take a picture to give to the student. I am doing this for birthdays this year. The birthday student gets this picture made:)

This site has a lot of amazing print outs for classroom procedure wall decorations. This picture is one I liked best. I like the idea of having tasks with Velcro on the back that you can put up every day for tasks students can do when they are done with their work to cut down on distractions for the students who are still working. beginning of year activity

Hello english teacher. Your getting this when I graduate

One of the teachers I work with suggested this idea at our first faculty meeting this year and I thought it was so smart! When kids are pulled for speech, OT, reading groups, etc., they put the cup on their desk to say they are out of the room. It makes it easy to glance around the room and see who has been pulled.
