I make a simpler cranberry sauce for the holidays and for stuffing the scooped out cavities of acorn squash any time I make them. But I really like the idea of adding apples, so I'm going to try this recipe. I think I will incorporate some of my simpler version into this recipe, though, by substituting orange juice for the water and adding a healthy sprinkling of cinnamon.
