    1. Former Governors Mansion, located at 120 South Clark Street in Milledgeville, GA. Construction began on it in 1838. John Pell, Timothy Porter, and Charles B. Cluskey have been associated with its Greek revival design. Governors resided there from 1839-1868. Since 1889 presidents of Georgia College have lived there.
