Basketball : Understand prejudice/stereotype in sports. Observation: this picture depicts a racial stereotype about african americans. the photo asks the viewer to guess which player becomes a pro, by default one would choose number 21 because he is taller than the other players, but the picture says number 25 becomes the pro who is a black player. This implying that black people are only good for sports.
I found this relevant to race because the black kid is being considered as the better player because of his particular race rather than the tall white kid regardless of him being the tallest in the team. This assumption is based upon the idea that black people are good basketball players and it is further reinforced by the fact that the NBA in America is predominantly played by African American athletes who excel in this particular sport.
Laughed way too muchhhhh.

Hm. This is kinda sad, actually. We jumped all over men for objectifying women in the 50s and then turned around and did the same thing, except that now we put even less clothes on them, and plaster their bodies on national television.
