TIP: Bra with a pokey underwire? Fix it with moleskin. This blog post got so many fans that the woman got together with Moleskin and made a new product!!! Patches last longer than the DIY and are pre-cut so much easier! Definitely ordering some!!!!
Do your skin a favor... Go out and buy a mason jar. Add coarse sea salt, olive oil, almond oil, and if you can find it - jojoba oil. Use daily. Love your skin again. I add the olive oil and jojoba oil first to the salt and then add as much almond oil as I need to make it smell great. When you get out of the shower, your skin will be smooth, silky and you shouldn't need lotion. In the summer, you can add a little coconut oil for a tropical smell! ~
DIY MAKE-UP SETTER: 1 part pure glycerin, 3 parts Filtered water, & Something to put it in. That would be if you have combination skin. If you have oily skin try 1/5 glycerin to 4/5 water and if you have dry skin try using 1/3 part glycerin to 2/3 parts water.
Homemade Coconut Shampoo Ingredients: 1/2 cup coconut milk 2/3 cup castile soap (Dr. Bronners) 40 drops essential oil (jasmine) 2 teaspoons olive oil Combine all the ingredients in an empty shampoo bottle or jar and shake. I used a funnel to pour ingredients in the empty bottle. You can keep it in the shower for one to two months. Shake well before each use.
