Asparagus Gruyere Tart, so easy to make. Flour, for work surface Roll out 1 sheet frozen puff pastry on to flour surface. Spread 5 1/2 ounces (2 cups) Gruyere cheese, shredded or sheese of choice then lay on top 1 1/2 pounds medium or thick asparagus. Could this be any easier? Roll out puff pastry dough, bake 15 minutes at 400. Sprinkle with Gruyere (or cheese of your choice) and top with Asparagus. Brush with oil, top with salt and pepper. Bake another 20-25 minutes. --Martha Stewart Recipes

Asparagus, red potatoes, and garlic. Healthy and super easy side dish. Looks like on the recipe, cook the potatoes and garlic for a bit on their own then add the asparagus, to avoid overcooking..I love crunchy asparagus, so that would be my recommendation..that way Daniel can pick out the greens too. :)
