"Technology Tickets". Each Sunday give the kids 10 tickets. Each ticket = 30 minutes of t.v., game system, computer, etc. Tickets can be used consecutively, but when they are out they are out for the week. Parents still reserve the right to say "no" even if they have a ticket. - cool idea, but I think I'm too in love with movies & tv to do this one .. maybe for things like video games or something..

Most of the time we approach chores as something we do as being a part of family. There are times that a Work for Hire idea could come in handy.

"Family Store"... kids earn points at home for doing chores/good behavior and then turn in their points for items in the "family store" once a week. Ideas for items in the "store" could be things already around the house like, special snacks, stickers, drinks, notebooks, post-its, dollar store stuff. Use different color stickers to represent the "point value" of each item (point value key posted on side of box).

Screen Time Tickets - a GREAT way to make sure screen time doesn't completely take over in the summertime! Only a certain amount of tickets per week, and once they're gone, they're gone. I'm going to print and laminate these to re-use each week!

Media tickets.....make educational for break time on occasion during school (rainy days)
