Love the benches built around the firepit!

these are larger than the pavers we have now, but the grouping around the fire pit is similar to the effect I wish to accomplish. Thinking creeping thyme, dwarf mondo grass, or moss between the pavers, and the pavers more inset into the soil than they are now.

flowering ground cover, gardening, landscaping, flowers LOVE the idea of planting low-growing, flowering ground cover between flagstone pavers, I'd use the one in the picture, or purple thyme or something like Sweet Vernal grass (vanilla scented)

To make it pop,put something contrasting, but simple, behind it- colored wall, trellis, art piece etc.

Love this firepit idea! All gravel, no concrete needed... Maybe surround the graveled area w larger rocks or brick to keep gravel from spilling onto the grass. So easy and way more affordable!
