Holy Moly! Does this ever work! Homemade carpet cleaner.... dampen carpet, sprinkle baking soda and let sit 10 minute. Vacuum. Spray with cleaner (1 T. Dawn, 1 T vinegar, 2 C. water). Scrub and vacuum. AMAZING!

DIY Draino - Baking soda, white vinegar, 1 skewer, and boiling water. Tap about 1/4 cup of baking soda into the drain. Pour 1 cup of white vinegar on top of it. While it bubbles, boil a whole teapot of water. Then slowly pour the hot water into the drain. For heavy clogs use a skewer and gently push down into the drain.
