Southern Skillet Corn (my late Aunt Irene made her creamed corn like this for Thanksgiving every year...sure miss it!) 6 ears of corn (approx. 6 cups), 3 Tbsp. flour, 2 tsp. sugar, 1 tsp. salt, 1/4 tsp. pepper. Melt 3 Tbsp. butter in large kettle or skillet, whisk in flour, sugar, salt & pepper then add 1 1/2 cups water and blend. Add corn and cook 40-45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
