Such a sweet read. So unique...this take on the afterlife...and what heaven might be through Mitch's creativity. Weaving a life thought to be dead end and uneventful into a powerful universal web that connects everyone...past, present, and future. Eddie learns his life wasn't so ordinary after all.
Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom: I read this in conjunction with The Problem of Pain by C.S. Lewis while taking a "God, Suffering, & Evil" in college. This book reminds me that we must cherish those that are important to us. We must ask them all of the questions that we can while they are still in our lives. It's about learning life’s greatest lesson through the death of a friend. It's about feeling a great passion for life. We must be ready for our time when we meet God.
