Really like this idea for a planter using concrete blocks. Off to craigslist to shop for blocks in the free section! :)

Got Herbs? Try this out in a Hanging Pocket Shoe Rack -This is perfect if you just have a small outdoor space. Just poke a few holes on the bottom of each pouch and fill with good soil, then a small rooted herb plant. If you water from the top, it trickles down to the lower 'pocket', like a waterfall, so don't over water!
