Maple-Butter Frosting 1 c. unsalted butter, softened; 3 oz. cream cheese, softened; 2/3 c. dark-brown sugar; ¼ tsp. salt; ¾ c. maple syrup; ¾ tsp. vanilla extract; 1 c. icing sugar Beat butter, cream cheese, brown sugar,+salt in med. bowl with mixer set on med. speed til light+fluffy, about 3 min. Continue beating,+add maple syrup+vanilla. Gradually add icing sugar, increase speed to high,+beat til light+fluffy, about 1 min. Chill for 1 hour before using.
