Called the Tissue Series, artist Lisa Nilsson has constructed a range of anatomical cross sections of the human body using rolled pieces of Japanese mulberry paper. It’s a technique known as quilling, or paper filigree, and each piece takes weeks to assemble.

Can't find tutorial for this but you could attach paper or fake flowers to a canvas, then spray paint any color~ nice!!

again on my ocean theme, i really like the use of what looks like a fishing net to portray the image of an ocean. the embroidery is super cool and it looks so detailed and like it has a really nice texture
