Made the frittata with cottage cheese instead and called it Princess Eggs; tried to get kiddo to find the treasures (pretty chard) in it. Didn't work--still didn't want to eat it. :)
Tried again--called them Pirate Eggs, and encouraged a search for treasure! Worked great for the chard, but didn't eat the eggs this time! :)
