Chicken Piccata - original recipe from epicurious march 1998 recipe. Let the floured chicken stand so flour doesn't fall off when frying. No egg! After chicken, sauté shallots and garlic, add wine, broth and juice, boil, then flour butter mixture until thickened. Add capers and more butter and parsley. Delish!
Chicken Piccata - Ina Garten - it's VERY lemony! Be warned. Next time I probably won't add the reserved lemon halves and cut down the lemon juice, and put in more butter. With a few changes, could be a very delicious chicken dish (Dec 22).
Chicken Piccata, Review by JF: This was tasty! Will definitely make again! It was also easy. We left off the capers, but it would be good with the capers. I did not use the sauce on pasta, instead I poured it on asparagus. But I do think some bowtie pasta with the sauce would be good. I loved the sauce. It's a must because with out it, this is just plain pan fried chicken.
