Writers' Week was held as part of the Adelaide Festival program, 3-8 March 2002.  Visiting writers included Armistead Maupin, Michael Ondaatje, Jane Urquhart, Laura Esquival and environmental activist David Suzuki.  Australian authors on the program included John Birmingham, Frank Moorhouse, Louis Nowra and historian Peter Read.
