Piece of wood from Home Depot cut to size of couch, stained, attached to wall with L-brackets...

I wanted a wood entry table without breaking the bank! I was searching for one that was long enough for my entry way and have the rustic wood look but was unable to find. Headed over to the local home improvement store and got 4-2x2 2-2x4 and 2-wider wood panels for the top. Several wood screws and ready for sanding. Purchased two in one poly and stain paint, did three coats and all done! I get so many compliments on my new table!

Simple DIY sofa tables. If we get a sectional we would need something similar so sofa not up against wall...provides area for lamps too.

I love the idea of a console table behind the couch. We always need more space to stack books and other items that pile up on the coffee table.

You'll never have to reach for that coffee mug again! Make your own C table for armchairs! We used industrial pipes, flanges and stained oak wood pieces. Get instructions from Jennifer Allwood at TheMagicBrushinc.com

DIY console table for behind the sofa. Have to remember to do this if our living room needs it! Don't need end tables this way.

Plywood as a laundry room countertop. Lowes will cut to size... just rub on some danish oil. (add a cheap rubber floor matt between the wood and metal to dampin the sound. )
