Plot Image- The Help Skeeter, the young white woman who recently graduated from Ole Miss is seen here in the movie scene writing her novel, The Help. She works with African American maids and gathers their stories about the discrimination they face on a daily basis at work.
"She just don't see em. The lines. Not between her and me, not between her and Hilly.' ...'I used to believe in em. I don't anymore. They in our heads. People like Miss Hilly is always trying to make us believe they there. But they ain't.' ...'I know they there cause you get punished for crossing em."
The Help 2011. What a surprise package. It's serious, its funny, its cruel, its interesting, its a chick flick, its fashion, its a contrast of lives and life, and its certainly not just about pie. I wish I knew what Skeeter is short for! The acting is brilliant. You is kind, you is smart, and you is important.
