Thrifty Scissor Practice - for ages 2 and up! Sometimes just 10 minutes a day, 2-3 times a week can make all the difference. This is one thing I find most preschoolers cannot do....use scissors. Why? Some Parents will not sit down for a few minutes with their child to learn how to use them.

    For kids who like to use scissors for fun, I kept a box with little papers, straws, pipe cleaners etc. If you fill the box well they can spend a really long time making the pieces tinier and tinnier.
