OLD CITY OF JERUSALEM - Damascus Gate  - This leads into the Muslim Quarter of Jerusalem's Old City. A market selling sneakers, food, and household goods sets up here, providing a bizarre contrast to architecture dating to the 16th century, and perfectly representing this land of contradictions. This is the main gate to the Old City, and the road running through it has always led to...Damascus.
