make your own washable swiffer dusters, made some and love them, spray with a little dusting spray and when you are done throw them in the laundry. Plus I used a scrap I had so it didn't cost me a thing.

PVC pipe shoe storage - so fun and so simple, could easily spray paint or cover in fabric or paper too... maybe a horizontal layout of two rows or something. So many possibilities!

Swiffer Refill DIY - Just boil some water and hold the lid in the hot water for about 10-20 seconds. Careful, it gets hot! Hold it sideways to avoid the steam. Use a dish rag to twist off the cap. Fill with the cleaner of your choice.

Make your own reusable swiffer cover! I am lazy and I just use an old washcloth and shove it in the holes. Microfiber cloths are good for dry mopping wood, and old wash cloths squeezed to remove most of the water are remarkable for mopping wood.
