There are colors that stir the soul - yellow is that color for me - Chris Mott -

Pink Bug. Or, more specifically, 'tickle me pink' bug.

vintage - The car my Dad bought for the three of us to learn to drive. It was a stick, small and cheap on gas. A quarter would give you a 1/4 of a tank and we could drive all night until our curfew at 10 p.m.

My hubby teases me because I want one so badly! Turquoise and white, or soft pink and white! Can"t you just see me serving cupcakes around the world in this Beaut!?

Some cars have such classic lines you don't have to see the whole thing to know what it is.

This was my first car- Classic! Wasn't wind up though! I'd still love one of these now- vw beetle or kombi!!

This looks like a '69 Bug....mine is a '69 with the same taillights and the unlouvered decklid. Something interesting about this pic? The rear bumper here is installed upside down! The bumper guards should have the flattest part on the bottom, not the top! They are designed to stick up about 3-4 inches above the bumper. :-)

Alot newer than either of mine but I do like the color

The Original VW would be in better condition after rolling down into a 30-foot ravine than a Toyota after hitting a curb. The cabin is water-tight so it won't sink. And if the garage isn't an option, pluck it in the living room!

I have always loved the original VW Beetle. If I could find one in terrific (or restored) shape, it would be mine!

My dad was a VW mechanic, he had a shop "The Bug Shop" for more than twenty years.
