Vintage Spirograph game 1968 No 401 Canadian by PourToujours - OMG I loved Spirograph when I was a kid - I spent hours and hours using it.
Spirograph, I had stacks and stacks of sheets of paper with thousands of these cool eye catching designs. The link goes to the modern version, not the classic one from the 70's like in the image but it is still a super cool "game" to have. It's great for self entertaining the kids.
Spirograph. I had one of these and loved playing with it... what do kids play with now??? oh yea...iPads -_- i still don't even have one.

Christmas tree tinsel. Made from lead. We would carefully lay it strand by strand. And save as much as possible every year. Made for a pretty tree, though.
remember tree tinsel? This caused more fights than anything. Every year they'd be yelling, "put more over here", " place each strand on the branch, don't throw it on".
remember tree tinsel? The Christmas Tree was not properly decorated until the tinsil was on.
Making me sad....lots of childhood memories of happy Holidays with my parents

Kool-Aid Soft Drink Package, General Foods, 1951 Edwin Perkins spent his childhood experimenting in his mother's kitchen. In 1927, he perfected the powdered drink mix now known as Kool-Aid. The packets were sold for just 10¢ and, thanks to red dye Number 2, came in six brightly colored flavors: strawberry, cherry, lemon-lime, grape, orange, and raspberry.

LOVED this shampoo...so did my hair stylist. She (and other girls in the shop) couldn't believe this was the shampoo (with matching conditioner) I used. It kept my fine, flyaway hair from being frizzy without weighing it down...and it made your hair really SHINE! Salon gals couldn't believe it because this shampoo was considered "cheap."
Had a commercial about, "you tell a friend, and so on and so on".

OMG I forgot all about this one! Thanks for reminding me! Philly ~ Gene London hosted the kids' show Cartoon Corners in the 1960s on the CBS affiliate in Philadelphia, PA
Gene London starred in "Cartoon Corners" in the 1960s on the CBS affiliate in Philadelphia. I had a TOTAL crush on Gene, who was completely gay in every way -- this could explain a lot about my subsequent boyfriend choices. Gene used to draw pictures on the air and you could see the lines that had been sketched in for him to follow. Later on, I read a description of his home, which had shelves and shelves of glass knicknacks, literally thousands of them. I wonder who dusted all that stuff.
I always loved to watch Gene London on his drawing board. He inspired my doodles!
